Exploding Tankensteins? Bring it on!

The schlock-horror vibes of Gearbox’s website for Borderlands expansion pack The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned really floats my boat. Creepy, Ed Wood-style music, dozens of missions, and new enemies including Were Skags and something called the Exploding Tankenstein? Oh yes, I want this.

The DLC will be available for the 360 and PS3 on Tuesday, with the PC version following at an as-yet undisclosed later date. Gearbox’s timing is impeccable: many players will have finished the game by now, and the expansion pack should be a perfect refresher course before embarking on the bad-assed second playthrough.
