Red Dead Redemption Release Date
Rockstar release set for Red Dead Revolver sequel
If you’ve been hankering to play a GTA-style sandbox game in the Wild West, you’d better circle April 27 2010 on your calendar now.
That’s the day when cowpokes and bar floozies alike will be able to mosey on down to their local games emporium and pick up Red Dead Redemption, the sequel to 2004’s Red Dead Revolver.
Rockstar San Diego’s game is set in 1908, a good twenty years after the events of its predecessor. Playing as outlaw-turned-lawman John Marston, you’re tasked with bringing justice to the American frontier and hunting down a former partner-in-crime. Red Dead Redemption is being developed using Rockstar’s GTA and Midnight Club engines, and will be released on the PS3 and 360.
I’d be interested to know whether or not people are looking forward to this. The screenshots and trailers have been pretty great looking so far, but traditionally most Western titles have failed to capture the imagination of gamers. If one game can buck the trend, though, it’s surely this one.

this game looks amazing you can hunt and it looks like the best free roam title to date (maybe gta4). it will also is respsectable just cause its made by rockstar…
