Refurbished and returned items for knock down

Another stepping stone on their never-ceasing quest for world domination, Tesco have opened up another branch.

This time its on online auction site eBay selling returns for knock down prices.

The Tesco outlet site will feature refurbished electrical products from top brands including Sony, Samsung and Philips and went live this week.

The auction concept happens as usual by the ‘buy it now’ option includes an iPod Shuffle at £19.97 and a Sony 32-inch flatscreen television at £343.97, excluding postage. Not bad.

The items for sale are returned goods which have been given the seal of approval for resale and come with a 12-month warranty.

“We have launched it to offer customers the opportunity to purchase refurbished products that are not available in our stores,” a spokesman for the store told consumer magazine the Grocer.

I’ve read several articles to-day about Tesco’s Virtual Store on eBay, but on searching for it on the eBay site, I can’t find it. An internal search simply brings up ‘Tesco’ goods that people don’t want. Am I missing something?

I can’t find it either. Have tried all combination of words. Are we just being thick?

I guess the best idea here is to get in early. As soon as more become aware of this, prices will rise.

So if you’re after a bargain Xmas pressie, possibly for yourself…

I do not agree with it. Tesco make more than enough money on the high street, killing the local shops, why do they feel they have to try and wipe out any competition in any other market. They will not be happy until the whole country is working for them. I HATE THEM
