Apple iPad Event – the Photos

Basically a massive iPhone, minus the camera

So, here it is: the iPad.

Here displaying the 9.7 inch OLED screen in landscape mode, with a 3/4 inch bezel around the outside.  Home button to the right; basically a large iPod Touch.

Below is an example of one of the new (more expensive) apps which will be priced at $9.99 in the iTunes Store.  This one from the National Geographic.

Here is the page turning when in e-book mode.  Very easy on the eye, actually looks like a book and just tap to turn a page.

Here’s the on-screen keyboard; apparently almost full “laptop size” in landscape mode.

Here’s the physical keyboard dock for when you have to type something substantial.  Not sure about the price of this yet…

Here’s the new iBooks store, because there had to be a revenue stream tie in; don’t forget to pay your Apple tax.
