USB 3.0 Implemented by Christmas

Able to transfer data at a blistering 5gbps

With file sizes ever increasing, the need for a faster universal interface becomes ever more prescient.  Details of the USB 3.0 standard have been available for some time now, and although we knew it wouldn’t be too far away sources close to the New York Times are claiming that production will be started in less than 2 months time, ready to implement the new standard into laptops, desktops and other devices in time for Christmas.

The new connection will be able to transfer data at a blistering 5gbps, plenty for large file transfers, streaming of high defenition video and the like.
