Top Selling Games – 20/05/10
New entries galore
World Cup fever is gripping the nation, if the advertising campaigns are to be believed. The charts seem to confirm that Britain has gone football crazy, as this week sees 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa at number one for the third week in a row.
The big new releases this week were Alan Wake, which has been in the works for the past five years, and Lost Planet 2 from Capcom. Skate 3, from Electronic Arts is also new at number five, just behind Just Dance which is showing no signs of leaving the top five just yet, having hung in there for what feels like an eternity.
There’s a surprise re-entry for Call of Duty: World At War, which lept back up to number fifteen after an absence of many weeks.
