Expensive Call of Duty on Warfare 2
At £55 RRP, fans could seal future fate
Angry gamers have been venting their frustration on forums across the net after the release price the latest in the Call of Duty series has been set at £55, £10 more than most other new titles.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is released in November and tipped to be the biggest seller of the year.
It’s predecessor Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the biggest seller of 2007 shifting more than seven million copies.
The game’s acclaimed status has even the most loyal of fans in an awkward dilemma. If they choose to purchase the game at the £55 RRP, they risk sending a message to other games developers.

I am disgusted and appalled by the pricing of this game, Activision are really this generations EA bending over the consumer and sticking it to them. I am going to be skipping out on MW2 until there is a significant price drop which there will be mark my words!
I am definitely boycotting Activision goods… especially after that stunt they pulled on Brutal Legend!!
