Klingon Keyboard Goes On Sale

Buy’ ngop! (That's great news!)

With Star Trek Online currently accepting applications for beta testing, the time has never been riper for a Klingon language keyboard.

With Cherry’s limited-edition peripheral at your side, there’ll be no more tedious Klingon-to-English translation woes thanks to its 26 keys featuring characters from the pIqaD, or Klingon alphabet. Just the thing when you need to send orders to your pu’beq (phaser crew), we’d imagine. It’ll also be invaluable for trolling Trek forums – after all, who wants to be told that their mother has a smooth forehead? (Hab SoSlI’ Quch, in case you were wondering.)

More choice phrases can be found online via the Klingon Language Institute and Klingon Pocket Dictionary.

The keyboard is priced at £43.99, and if sales are good Cherry has promised a Vulcan version to follow.

wejpuH. This isn’t news, it’s old. The Keyboard is PS2, and was release in November 2007. I know, I looked into buying one, but I don’t have a machine that supports PS2 anymore.
