Shooting the Noise

This work was produced for Richard’s GCSE Art & Design exam and was inspired by the work of Peter Saville and Russian constructivist artwork. The graphic he created is a promotional poster for a fictional band called ‘Shooting the Noise’, promoting the release of single ‘I, Me, Mine’.

Simon started to get into graphic design and creating self-promotional work at the beginning of this year.

The design is part of his CUBEN artwork range which started life as a set of self-promotional brand designs.

The inspiration for this design was simply the cube; a design that tries to push the 3D element of the cube and create a kind of textured wall from a number of them.
