Tauntaun Sleeping Bag
Lovely
Winter is drawing in and while the British nether months may be slightly less severe than those of Hoth, the Jedi of Blighty still feel the chill as the nights draw in.
Help is at hand for shivering Paduan learners from ThinkGeek, who after a spot of pleading with Lusasfilm have been given the go ahead on their Tauntaun carcass sleeping bag. This idea first saw the light back in April as an April fools’ joke but the enthusiastic response from their readers prompted the ThinkGeek crew to see the concept through.
The sleeping bag features a lightsaber zip attachment for that realistic “slashing open your former steed” feeling as well as an embroidered Tauntaun head for a pillow and “entrails” design on the inside. For added authenticity a tail, saddle and fuzzy little legs have also been incorporated into the design.
Just remember to wash it from time to time so that you avoid the characteristic stench of the rotting beast.
The Tauntaun sleeping bag will be available from ThinkGeek from early November. It will be big enough for adults.
