Google celebrates 20 year milestone
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Wallace and Gromit, Google has adopted the eccentric inventor and his loyal pooch as the logo for the day.
When users click on the logo, they are directed to a results page featuring the Aardman Animations characters created by Nick Park.
The loveable Lancastrian duo have become two of the most recognisable faces of modern British culture.
It all started in A Grand Day Out when they travelled to the moon in search of a supply of cheese for the bank holiday.
Since 1989, the pair have starred in The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, A Matter of Loaf and Death, and one feature-length film, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
To celebrate the milestone anniversary on the gaming front: Telltale, the team behind Wallace and Gromit video games is giving away some gaming freebies
